Contests Information (2024-25)

Travel competitions are a great way to learn and do math, make friends and meet new people (and tour colleges)! Most competitions feature multiple team, proof and individual rounds as well as fun activities like estimathons, puzzles and speaker events.


10/26 - MMATHS (8 points)

Math Majors of America Tournament for High Schools is taking place on Saturday, October 26 at UC Davis (+ 6 other sites across the country) and former Math Club President Stephen Xia '23 is the vice president of this competition. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Monday, September 30.

11/2 - BMT (8 points)

Berkeley Math Tournament is taking place on Saturday, November 2 at UC Berkeley. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Wednesday, September 25.


11/9 - HMMT Nov (8 points)

Harvard-MIT Math Tournament (November) is taking place on Saturday, November 9 at Harvard. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Friday, September 20.


11/23 - PUMaC (8 points)

Princeton University Math Competition is taking place on Saturday, November 23 at Princeton. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Tuesday, October 15.


1/25 - CMM (8 points)

Caltech Math Meet is taking place on Saturday, January 25 at Caltech. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Friday, November 8.


2/15 - HMMT Feb (8 points)

Harvard-MIT Math Tournament (February) is taking place on Saturday, February 15 at MIT. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Monday, December 2.


Late Feb - TrinMaC (3 points)

Trinity Math Competition is taking place during the last week of February. This 90-minute team contest will be hosted at school. You can compete in teams of up to 6. If you would like to participate, please have one member of your team fill out this form by Tuesday, February 18. You can also sign up without a team, and we will combine you with others also looking for a team.


3/5 - BAMO (4 points)

Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad is taking place on Wednesday, March 5 at 3:30pm. This 4-hour contest will be hosted at school and dinner will be provided. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Thursday, February 20.


3/11 - PiMC (3 points)

Pi Math Contest is taking place in Tuesday, March 11. This 75-minute contest will be hosted at school. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Sunday, December 8.


3/15 - CMIMC (8 points)

Carnegie Mellon Informatics and Mathematics Competition is taking place on Saturday, March 15 at CMU. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Monday, January 6. This competition coincides with the Harker Math Invitational, so do not sign up if you intend to volunteer at HMI.


4/5 - BrUMO (8 points)

Brown University Math Olympiad is taking place on Saturday, April 5 at Brown. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Monday, March 3.


4/12 - SMT (8 points)

Stanford Math Tournament In-Person is taking place on Saturday, April 12. Former Math Club President Olivia Xu '24 and former Math Club Officer Emma Gao '24 are two of the organizers of this competition. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Monday, March 3.


4/13 - SMT Online (3 points)

Stanford Math Tournament Online is taking place on Sunday, April 13. Former Math Club President Olivia Xu '24 and former Math Club Officer Emma Gao '24 are two of the organizers of this competition. If you would like to participate, fill out this form by Monday, March 3.


Late Apr - PCMM (3 points)

Purple Comet Math Meet is taking place during the late April. This 90-minute team contest will be hosted at school. You can compete in teams of up to 6. If you would like to participate, please have one member of your team fill out this form by Thursday, April 17. You can also sign up without a team, and we will combine you with others also looking for a team.
